BRIE LE P’TIT CONNAISSEUR

Damafro
Montérégie

This soft cheese with a bloomy rind is made from pasteurized milk using traditional French methods. From the start, the cheese maker gave this Brie the name Connaisseur because it features a sharper taste and texture that appeal to connoisseurs. Its mild aroma of cream and milk along with its slightly salty and herbal flavour and its rich rind provide palate-pleasing character.

The Damafro cheese maker was founded in 1984 by Claude Bonnet, originally from Brie, France, along with his two sons, Michel and Philippe. Damafro’s story began with the purchase of the Fromagerie Clément, a small cheese maker in McMasterville, in the Montérégie region. The company later moved to Saint-Damase, where it has grown steadily.

The BRIE LE P’TIT CONNAISSEUR is available from the cheese maker and in some supermarkets.
